Alina Dumitrescu brings to her clients 20 years of experience in auditing, consulting as well as in key positions of CFO, project manager and corporate controller in several multinational companies in Belgium, Canada and Romania. Between 2006 and 2009, Alina was Associate Director at Deloitte Romania – Financial Advisory Services. In this capacity, she conducted Due Diligence investigations for the following industries: IT, Media & Telecom, Healthcare, Real Estate, Manufacturing and Insurance. Prior to this period, she had worked for 7 years as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young in Belgium.

For the past 11 years, she has been closely involved in numerous local and European mergers and acquisitions and has worked extensively with international investors and private equity firms. 

Studies and social commitment

Alina holds a bachelor’s degree from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Belgian Chamber of Accountants and Chartered Accountants of Liege / Belgium. She is a certified accountant in Belgium and Romania. She also holds an IFRS certification from EXEC-EDU, associated with Becker Professional, ACCA Gold partner.

Alina is an active member of the Professional Women Network, an international non-profit association that aims to support and encourage professional advancement for women in their careers. She is a moderator and trainer for women entrepreneurs in the fields of “Access to finance” and “Creating a business plan”.
